Matthew Borgatti, who develops and fabricates squishy machines at Super-Releaser the soft robotics and compliant systems design lab, will be talking about using digital fabrication to prototype novel mechanisms and solve complex problems through rapid iteration. He’ll be discussing learning from quick experiments using digitally fabricated tools, scaling from prototypes into small and then large scale manufacturing, and how to choose the right fabrication method to suit the underlying problems that need to be solved by a design.
