Adam Savage's Tested
3D Printing & Fabrication Specialist
San Francisco Bay Area
Sean is a regular contributor to Adam Savage's Tested where he uses digital modeling and 3D printing to bring projects to life - like making a working Ghostbusters Ghost Trap or a custom Lightsaber. He handles 3D Printing equipment reviews and tries to do a deep-dive into the products rather than listing the spec sheet. His new web show, Bits to Atoms, co-hosted with electronics expert Jeremy Williams, finds them doing everything from building an arcade cabinet to learning to cast 3D prints with metal. Sean also consults and provides 3D printing services for Tippett Studio (Star Wars, Starship Troopers, RoboCop) among other freelance clients.

Previously, Sean was the Head Repair Tech for NYU Film & TV for 12 years where he honed his fabrication and mechanical skills while maintaining a large inventory of cameras and equipment. Between overseeing student employees and performing technical seminars, Sean knows the importance of clear communication within education. He still fixes cameras for Cal Arts and others as time allows.

Despite all this, Sean rarely leaves his home workshop in Oakland, CA where he he lives with his wife and two cats.
